Pick My Brains

private business coaching

Over the last few years, I’ve received multiple requests from startup founders looking for frequent actionable insights & advice to help them develop their business activities.

They’ve all expressed the need to get no-BS expert guidance in idea validation / niche evaluation, brand positioning, competitive intelligence, SEO/SEM, social media management, product development and growth hacking methods.

Some of them are managing the marketing execution on their own, some have a small team in place.

All of them wanted to have someone on call to answer their most pressing and urgent questions.

In order to provide those founders with a cost-effective private business coaching solution, I’ve created Pick My Brains

What is "Pick My Brains"?

Pick My Brains is a monthly membership (priced £500), giving you exclusive access to a private Discord server organized in multiple channels: Competition, Socials, SEO/SEM, News, Product, etc. depending on your specific requirements.

On this private server, you can ask me anything, at anytime.

How to join the programme?

Simply head over to my Ko-Fi page where I’ve set up a membership tier. You’ll receive the invite to your private Discord server shortly after signing up.

How many questions can I ask?

As many as you want, 24/7. I’ll answer them within 24 hours (most of the time within a few hours), via text, voice and Loom videos. Not only will you get detailed answers to your questions, you’ll also receive frequent proactive messages packed with news and suggestions related to your business.

You will benefit from the insights generated by my personal suite of premium APIs and SaaS subscriptions, without having to learn how to use those tools. Whenever necessary, I’ll suggest the most suitable software options and expert services that fit your business requirements.

I might even write a blog piece inspired by our discussions.

Think of “Pick My Brains” as a creative blend of solution-focused private coaching and hyper bespoke premium newsletter

Which type of questions can I ask?

AMA. Ask Me Anything. For instance:

  • Help me identify my main competitors and develop a content strategy to outrank them.
  • What do you think of competitors A, B, C?
  • What do you think about our new onboarding?
  • Do you have any suggestions for a Facebook creative promoting our new service?
  • What do you think about our new pricing plans?
  • How would you market our new service on Youtube?
  • Which tools should I use to automate our lead generation workflow?

Why should I join?

I’ve been active in digital services for the past 23 years, in multiple industries, across multiple roles (Founder, Head of Product, Head of Marketing, etc.).

By signing up to “Pick My Brains”, you benefit from my 23-year experience at a fraction of the cost it would represent to have me on board in a permanent capacity or as a fractional CMO.

I had the pleasure to cooperate with Frederick during a few years (2007-2009). During that time, he demonstrated great creative skills for mobile entertainment business. Most of his ideas were able to be quickly transformed into real business opportunities. In addition, he has a great sense of humor.

Frederick has an impressive range of skills ranging from the capacity to articulate a complete Strategic Vision & analysis of your business, down to the execution of any marketing plan details. This scope of competencies makes his recommendations even more valuable than many others', since they are deeply connected to the knowledge of the nitty gritty details of what Execution means in real life. This guy has read and digest Ben Horowitz's Hard thing about Hard things, and can assist you to execute a plan , from the board level, down into the trenches.

Frederick is my business partner since 2004. We work together on a day-to-day basis. Fred is one of the most brillant businessman I have ever partnered with. We made piles of money together and still are. Not only Fred is incredibly creative at inventing business models but he is also able to make them happen and monetize them. Together, we created new brands, new ventures and new companies - some of them are still running and making money, others were sold to the likes of BNP Paribas. Everything Fred does is right-first-time and thoughtful. And our pipeline is still hot...

Fred is a gifted entrepreneur with a rare combination of leadership, creativity and spunk. I’ve had the pleasure of working with him for the past 7 years on various projects. I’ve always been in awe of his ability to perfectly juggle multiple projects. There is never a dull moment when Fred is around, he’s like an encyclopaedia of startups, growth hacks and “crazy-enough-that-it-might-work” ideas. I consider myself very lucky to have worked with someone with such a honed skillset, vast experience and visionary mindset. If you are growing a startup, do yourself a favour and get in touch with Fred. You’ll be impressed!
